Antimicrobial properties of Woodcast

The Hjelt Institute (Department of Public Health, Helsinki) has conducted microbial growth tests on Woodcast. They found that Woodcast has some antimicrobial properties.

Antibacterial effect against:

• Staphylococcus aureus
• Escherichia coli
• Candida albicans (fungus)
  

Growth reducing effect against:

• Aspergillus brasiliensis (mould)
